see me Grant Award

The association are pleased to announce that we have received grant funding of £4700 from see me. ‘see me’ is Scotland’s national campaign to end the stigma and discrimination of mental ill-health. See me is an alliance of five mental health organisations and fully funded by the Scottish Government. It was launched in 2002. The project money will be used by our art and writing groups to create a book and DVD focussing on tackling the issues of stigma.

Mental Health Week 2010

Mental Health Week 11-16th October- NHS Western Isles is running a local photography event to challenge the stigma and discrimination of mental ill-health by inspiring creativity through photography, and raising awareness of how positive mental health can be found in everyday life.
